Arduino controlled Analog Synthesizer

Doug Curtis and "Curtis Electromusic Specialties

In the 1980's Doug Curtis established a company called Curtis Electromusic Specialties to design and manufacture integrated circuits, to be used in building analog synthesizers. Many of these IC's were used by well known synthesizer manufacturers, such as Korg, Moog, Oberheim, Rhodes, Rolland, Sequential circuits, to name a few.

Today Doug has passed on, and CEM is no longer, but a new company (Alfa Rpar) has carried on in his footsteps to design and manufacture very similar analog synthesizer chips.

Our hope is to use some of the Alpha Rpar inc chips to create an analog synthesizer modules for Eurorack. We will use Alpha Rpar VCO, VCA, VCF, and ASDR chips to create such modules. These are to be controlled by microcontroller and MIDI computer interface.
