I knew Don Slepian when I was a kid growing up in Summit, NJ.
Don and his family lived just 2 blocks away from our house.
I remember the 3rd floor of their house that was fitted out as a
workshop for building plastic model cars, all of which were heavily customized.
Don was just a couple of years older, but in kid years, that is a lot.
To say Don was a bright teenager would be putting it mildly.
It's only natural that Don would get involved with electronics and music.
Today Don is still going strong with electronic music, having released
several albums.
